Engineers of IOM have applied new drilling technology on excavating kahrizes for the first time in the worldwide.
The International Organization for Migration is implementing a project entitled "Integrated development of rural areas in the settlements of IDPs through the rehabilitation of kahriz systems in Azerbaijan." According to the project, the world kahriz drilling technology is applied in Agdam rayon Ahmadagali village for the first time, as well as horizontal and vertical drilling machines are used in the drilling of "Gozlu" kahriz.
