A regional conference on "Research, construction and training of specialists on kahriz" was held in ASAU.
On 17.03.2022, a regional conference on "Research, construction and training of specialists on kahriz" was held at the "Research Information Center of Kahriz" of the Department of "Land Reclamation and hydrotechnical installations" of the Azerbaijan State Agrarian University. The main purpose of the conference was to provide detailed information about the significant work done, the prospects of the project in connection with the establishment of the "Kahriz Research and Information Center" in ASAU and the opening of an engineering course on kahriz in accordance with the agreement signed between the International Organization for Migration and the Azerbaijan State Agricultural University. The conference was attended by the rector of ASAU, corresponding member of ANAS, Professor Ibrahim Jafarov, head of the mission of the International Organization for Migration of the United Nations in Azerbaijan Vladimir Georgiev, chairman of the Ganja branch of ANAS academician Fuad Aliyev, project manager, head of the Department of "Land Reclamation and hydrotechnical installations" professor of ASAU Mirnaib Mirsalakhov, student of "Reclamation Engineering" specialty Peykar Ibragimova and head of the Irrigation Systems Department of the Goygol district Ismail Avazov. The university administration, deans of various faculties, heads of departments and heads of regional irrigation systems were also invited to the conference. At the end of the conference, the conference participants took part in the celebration of the Navruz holiday at the Faculty of Engineering.
